Notes from traders who sat with Aimachinelab to refine support and resistance maps — including the awkward bits.

Voices from recent lessons

“I used to draw every swing on the ASX 200 futures chart. After the intensive I keep three levels and ignore the rest — still adjusting when a level breaks cleanly, but the clutter is gone.”

Marcus T. · Melbourne · Mapping Intensive

“The Level Review was blunt in a useful way. Half my overnight FX zones were just habit. We erased them, widened two that actually held during London, and I left with a shorter map than I expected.”

Priya N. · Brisbane · Level Review Session

“Weekly clinic helps, though I wish we spent one more minute on my gold chart before time ran out. Even so, hearing how others treat a first retest stopped me from chasing the next tick.”

Dan R. · Adelaide · Weekly Chart Clinic

“I booked because I kept moving stops under every minor low. The intensive forced me to name which shelf was the real support for the week. I still second-guess myself on Fridays, but the weekday maps are quieter.”

Helen K. · Geelong · Mapping Intensive

Extended note — iron ore names and a crowded daily

Sam, a Perth-based swing trader, arrived with fourteen horizontal lines on a single daily chart of an iron ore name. During a Mapping Intensive we ranked each line by how often price had respected it in the prior quarter, then merged three into one zone. The follow-up note listed two active supports and one resistance shelf for the coming fortnight. Sam later wrote that the first open after the lesson felt slower — fewer impulsive redraws when a wick pierced a minor swing.

Extended note — SPI lunchtime hesitation

A Melbourne prop desk junior brought SPI five-minute charts full of diagonal trendlines mixed with horizontals. We parked the diagonals for the session and rebuilt lunchtime congestion shelves only. The reservation they shared afterward: the method felt almost too sparse at first. After two clinic weeks they reported fewer mid-bar cancellations when price sat against a mapped level.
